Meet The Founder, Christina Garcia, M.A., BCBA
Christina has always felt a calling to help children with special needs. This passion began in childhood and was profoundly influenced by an experience in the 4th grade. She met a boy who was often referred to as "special" by the teachers. He was non-verbal, solitary, and often wandered around the school. One day, Christina witnessed him having a seizure and quickly alerted her teacher, who helped the boy. Although he never returned to school, this incident left a lasting impact on Christina, and she often wonders how he is doing now.
In high school, Christina joined Best Buddies, a club that paired typical teenagers with special needs students for various activities, including after-school outings like bowling. This experience further solidified her desire to work in this field.
During her senior year at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), Christina began working at an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) agency. She discovered a deep love for assisting children and their families within their homes.
In 2016, Christina graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and earned her Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. In grad school, Christina’s thesis was using aba strategies to improve athletic performance, her studies showed that with immediate auditory reinforcement, it improved athletic performance. Since then, she has been dedicated to working with families, providing support and making a positive impact on their lives.

Hola y bienvenidos, Mi nombre es Christina Garcia, M.A., BCBA and CEO de L.I.F.E. Yo tengo 20 anos de experencia trabajando y ayudando a ninos y ninas con descapacidades en sus casas, escuelas, y en sus communidades.
Yo funde L.I.F.E. porque yo se que puede ser dificil tener aun hijo/hija un hijo o hija que tenga un diagnostico pero, yo se que cada nino, nina y familia tienen su propia forma aprender. Me gustaria ayudarle a comprender mejor su hijo. yo quiero ayudarle a su hijo/hija y a su familia a entender como salir adelante mejor.
